The Geekbox: Episode 20

12:46 pm
June 25th, 2009

The GeekboxStarting this one is some TV talk as per usual, but Ryan reveals that in addition to Burn Notice, he has also been watching Jon and Kate Plus 8.  Things take a turn for the weirder when the crew gets into a little bit of Mario fan fiction creation though.

There is a big discussion about games journalism in the middle here where the group talks about what gives one person more credibility than someone else.  Greg takes the chance to tell people to write for Bitmob if they want to break into the industry.

Karen is getting her driver’s license soon and is pretty nervous about it.  Everyone chimes in with their own driving tips, but the good ones are few and far in between.

Covered topics and games: Reality shows, Mario fan fiction, Burn Notice, Fitch’s trip, game journalsm, driving

Wherein we discuss vapid reality TV shows, King Koopa’s love life, Burn Notice episode 3×03, Fitch’s impending European vacation, what makes us so great (or not), iMax movies, and more driving-related nonsense. Starring Ryan Scott, Karen Chu, Andrew Fitch, Greg Ford, and Ryan Higgins.

Runtime – 1:17:48
