Out of the Game continues to be a fresh take on the gaming scene. Shawn is back talking about not going to E3 this year and what impact that had on his experience. N’Gai and Robert were at E3 and provide their views on being there and what changes the increasingly broadcasted nature of the show demand.
There is a lot more actual game talk on this episode when compared to previous podcasts. N’Gai is really feeling the potential of motion controls, especially Microsoft’s offering where Shawn and Robert aren’t quite as much. Also, the guys get into the whole Left 4 Dead 2 controversy.
The audio on this one is off the deep end of bad at times due to some Skype problems, but instead of being annoying, the guys take it in course and it almost adds to the character of this one.
Covered topics and games: Motion controllers making new platforms, Wii MotionPlus, voice search on 360, awkward/weird E3 moments, Brutal Legend, The 40th Day, The Last Guardian, God of War III, Left 4 Dead 2
