Here we get the first (and only?) Game Scoop podcast for E3. The guys touch upon a lot of the big games and announcements of the show and again the consensus is that Microsoft won the show.
Tony Hawk Ride has gotten a fairly icy reception in general, but Levi seems to have a good time with it. Most claims have been that the controls just don’t work as advertised. The fact that the visuals are a little rough don’t do it any favors either though.
Daemon goes on a rant near the end with some serious hate for the Wii. It seems like Nintendo has almost spent any and all goodwill they had left with the enthusiast crowd.
Covered topics and games: Brutal Legend, Tony Hawk Ride, Halo ODST, Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Shadow Complex, Uncharted 2, Project Natal, The Beatles: Rock Band, DJ Hero
It’s Daemon Hatfield, Hilary Goldstein, Levi Buchanan, Greg Miller, Jeremy Dunham, and an IGN reader this week. E3 has come and gone and we all agree it was one of the best shows we’ve been to. Join us for some polite dinner conversation over Hawaiian food as we discuss what we liked and loved this year.
