by Jonathan Downin in GamesJune 2nd, 2009 @ 12:42 pm

CO-OPThe CO-OP guys are here with there first E3 special covering the Microsoft press conference.  If you didn’t get a chance to catch it yourself, all of the big announcements and games are covered here.

It has been iterated more than a few times at this point, but when not 1, but 2 Halo games are shown and neither of them are the highlight of the show you know it was a success.  The crew share their opinions of Modern Warfare 2, Shadow Complex, Left 4 Dead 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Forza Motorsport 3, Halo: ODST, Final Fantasy XIII and Project Natal.

Check this one out and get ready for Sony’s answer to all of this at their conference in just a few short minutes from now.

It’s CO-OP’s first E3 special! We document our road-trip down to LA and our impressions of Microsoft’s impressive showing at their press event on Monday. There was almost too much to remember: Modern Warfare 2, Shadow Complex, Left 4 Dead 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Forza Motorsport 3, Halo: ODST, Final Fantasy XIII (with a quick look at the Odin Summons!), and Project Natal, the code-name for the new, controller-less interface Microsoft R&D has been cooking up and for which Lionhead Studios’s Peter Molyneux had an impressive demo of an interactive AI, Milo, capable of voice, face, and motion recognition through the Natal stereoscopic camera. Whew! And E3 hasn’t even officially BEGUN yet!

Runtime – 22:08
