GameSpot gave Infamous a 9.0 last week and the group takes the first 30 minutes talking about it this week. One aspect of the conversation going on here that is a little different is that a few of the guys are not completely positive on the game. A lot of the problems aired here are smaller ones, but they add up. It’s an interesting listen if you’ve been hearing nothing but positive things about the game.
The somewhat negative takes on things continues with the discussion on the topic of the almost universally loved Trico trailer. a few in the group are not too enamored with the look of the animal character and feel like the trailer is pretty uneven. They do acknowledge that this isn’t an official trailer and wan’t meant to get out anyway.
Tony Hawk: Ride and it’s skateboard peripheral are covered here and nobody quite knows what to make of it. At a purported $120 price point it seems overpriced. With such a high barrier to entry and not much application outside of the one game is it really worth it?
Shaun McInnis, Tom Mc Shea, Ricardo Torres, and Brendan Sinclair bask in the electric glow of Infamous, take a few swings at Punch-Out!!, and scratch their heads over leaked footage from Team Ico, the price of Tony Hawk: Ride, and what to expect from next week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
