A little late, but at least we got a new episode this week. Maybe it is time Rebel FM officially changes their day of release to Friday.
It’s nice to have Tyler on the show. Having someone around who is interested in straying beyond the beaten path and try games that aren’t exactly in the public eye is refreshing. This week he is talking about the Russian developed Cryostasis.
Arthur has finally finished the original Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and he wasn’t too pleased with the sharp turn from pulp serial to science fiction 2/3rds of the way in. While it did seem like a big shift in tone, Tyler and Anthony seem to feel it did work. This is all leading up to the release of Uncharted 2 this Fall. Check out the new footage that was released on Friday after the break, it looks amazing.
The main topic of discussion this week centers around gaming media. Anthony has some very set ways in which he approaches and thinks about these issues. In the course of the discussion the guys touch upon editorial integrity, reviewing methods, accepting publisher provided perks and other issues.
