MacBreak Weekly 140: The $30,000 Question

by Jonathan Downin in TechMay 13th, 2009 @ 1:50 pm

MacBreak WeeklyWith WWDC just 3 weeks away at this point the rumor mill is really starting to spin up.  One of the bigger ones related to the iPhone is that it will feature a built-in digital compass.  This will improve the iPhone’s turn-by-turn navigation by a great margin.  There are also rumors of a better 3.2 Megapixel camera that will be capable of variable focus.

A new Zune commercial has come out that is another in a line that is a direct attack at Apple.  They insinuate that it would take $30,000 to fill an iPod and a monthly Zune pass only costs $15  a month.  While it’s true that a subscription option would be nice on the Apple side, many already have a large music library which isn’t accounted for in these ads at all.

iPhone turn-by-turn and camera rumors, Zune Pass, Google-Apple boards, Snow Leopard APIs, and more.
