The idea of an Apple tablet/netbook has been floating around for almost years at this point. The rumor mill is ablaze again with various sources being sited that we should watch out for something at WWDC in June. Alex has been clamoring for something like this for a long time and things are no different now. Just hearing these guys speculate is enough to get excited.
The acquisition of Stanza by Amazon is interesting one. For those of you that are not familiar with Stanza, it is a very powerful tool that gives you portability of documents. It will auto format almost any kind of document and the iPhone app makes syncing these things incredibly effortless.
Apple has served 1 billion apps and this leads into a discussion about Apple getting into a somewhat sticky situation when it comes to approving and removing apps from their App Store. This is mostly set in motion be the recent Shaken Baby app debacle.
