Left 4 Dead’s survival mode is recently out and the consensus here is that is pretty insanely hard, maybe too hard. The guys lament the fact that there were no new scenarios included in this DLC, but come around to the fact that it is free, so how much can you really complain.
The Hunter crops back up into the conversation this week and the guys, for the most part, are still pretty enamored with it.
Jason Kapalka, of PopCap, is the big draw this week. PopCap has almost single-handedly brought the idea of casual gaming into the gaming landscape forefront. Jason has a lot to say about how they develop at PopCap and where they are headed. Very interestingly, he also talks about the recent additions of Bejeweled and Peggle into World of Warcraft and how that came about, it’s not quite how you would have expected. He also shares a few things to say about the highly anticipated Plants Vs. Zombies which is due out on PC next week on May 5th.
