The news of Microsoft revenues being down while Apple is up is amazing. Apple provides a high priced product when compared to Microsoft’s offerings of very low priced netbooks and in this recession-type environment it is surprising that people will still spend the extra money for Apple products. Jason Calacanis makes a great point about perceived value. Apple still claims they won’t jump into the netbook game, but everyone here thinks they will introduce something.
The Pirate Bay story continues to get more interesting. Apparently the judge in the case has some connection to copyright organizations that the defense is also a part of. This definitely makes the ruling more than a little suspect.
