Game trivia takes up the whole first half of the show and there are some good questions in there. NBA Jam comes up and makes everyone who used to like sports game, but don’t anymore wonder why they don’t bring out another installment in this series.
Jade is inviting a lot of angry emails saying she doesn’t want any Final Fantasy VII stuff outside of the original game and that she was glad when Aeris died.
at1UP has proven to not include much actual content. There are other podcasts that we want to add, but can only cover a certain amount of casts and at1UP may not be featured on here too much longer. Let us know what you think.
Good times are had by all when 1UP users try to stump Jade, Travis, and Shirk with gaming trivia. In the Cocktail Napkin segment, Shirk demands to see your cocktail napkins- for some swag! Details on at1upblog.1up.com. Finally Jade drops some knowledge about Final Fantasy XIII and the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Hey Jonathan — I wanted to say thanks for posting our show on castmedium since our debut. You were probably the first one to notice us out on the web and we’ve certainly enjoyed your support these last couple months.
That said, I would really hate to lose castmedium as a place our listeners can find the show. Granted, we’ve never been too hardcore in terms of gaming content — but that was the intent.
With all the “serious” gaming podcasts out there, we wanted to be more light and fun. And with each show coming at the 20-30 minute range, it’s not really a big time-eater. Consider us something to compliment our longer sister podcasts, Good Grief and ListenUP.
The crew and I really appreciate being a part of castmedium–I personally enjoy the summaries you do for every show you list on the site–and we hope to get to stay on. If we don’t, I totally understand–that’s a big list of shows you’ve got to keep track of.
Best of luck and keep up the great work!
Mike
Thanks for stopping by the site Mike. It’s great to know CastMedium is a resource for you.
It’s true that there are many “serious” gaming podcasts around and it’s nice to have an alternative to that. Sometimes it’s easy to fall into a hardcore mindset, something we know about all too well here.
Look for at1UP to stick around for a while.
