This isn’t the Rebel FM it has been. If you haven’t heard, Philip Kollar has decided to step aware from the show. He mentions in his post on eat.sleep.game. that he isn’t going away for good and that he will pop up on podcasts from time to time, maybe even Rebel FM. That’s makes Rebel FM without its two main creators. But the show must go on.
Though the format is changing we still get the “what you’ve been playing” segment. They then move on to GDC stuff starting with OnLive. Matt Chandronait has a surprising optimistic view on the technology and the positive tone overall is refreshing. Arthur balances that out with almost complete skepticism.
The discussion then moves onto indie games. These two games were covered in this week’s Totally Rad Show, but they bare mentioning again. Check out The Unfinished Swan and Tag: The Power of Paint. These are the kind of games that really push innovation and encourage people to try new things.
