The guys are talking about the Apple announcements from Tuesday and they have a lot to say. They have some astute takes on Apple approaching the phone market in a way that almost no other handset manufacturer has before in that they see the software as the real platform.
One prediction that has always been around is the idea that Apple may introduce an iPhone that has a physical keyboard. Ryan and Peter both believe that it is simply a matter of time. Apple is traditionally capable of holding out on things that seem necessary to many so we will see.
The Dell adamo gets some discussion here since the base pricing of $1999 has been revealed. This price point puts it $200 more expensive than the MacBook Air, which is also a whole pound lighter. Although aesthetically pleasing, they may have priced themselves too high with an underpowered machine.
It’s no secret that iPhone 3.0 and its myriad features were the big story this week, but Dell’s final launch of the Adamo and Cisco’s acquisition of Flip maker Pure Digital certainly made us sit up and take notice. But let’s face it: copy and paste. This is some mind-blowing stuff.
