The group played Killzone 2 for this week’s episode. They keep saying that they had fun and liked it, but the overall impression you get after hearing them talk about it is less the great.
Sharkey’s “Recession Gaming” segment is a nice part of the podcast. He is talking about Team Fortress 2D this week and everyone seems to like it quite a bit. He even goes so far as to call it better than Team Fortress 2 for those that want a less intensive experience.
In another feature, Armchair Design, the topic of ideas for Portal 2 is the focus. There are so many ways to iterate upon the original concept. As fun as the gameplay was in the first, the “story” was really great as well. Hopefully that is focused on a bit more the next time around.

Good Grief episode 2 ups the ante like Empire Strikes Back. We give you Killzone 2 impressions from community play time night and share our love for Gang Garrison 2. While Phil Kollar caught a cold and couldn’t make it this week, we caught visiting 1UP user David Loh to take his place. Oh, and we froze Tina in carbonite.
