For those of you that watched last week’s CO-OP you will remember that the guys were teasing that they had signed a new contract of sorts. Well, it turns out that it was with Revision3. Revision3 are the people that produce many of the video shows featured here on the site including: The Totally Rad Show, Diggnation and Tekzilla. You can see they get a shout-out on another Revision3 show, The Digg Reel. This is huge news indeed.
If you have been following 1UP for the past year you know that Jeff Cannata, of The Totally Rad Show, has been on 1UP Yours several times, so there has been an intermingling of the people involved at Rev3 and 1UP for a little while. With the layoffs in January the 1UP Show went away and AREA 5 was born. The 1UP Show, which was the predecessor to CO-OP, was always miles ahead of any other video game show out there with the exception of The Totally Rad Show. Revision3 seems like it is the perfect fit for these guys.
The next release of CO-OP will be out tomorrow and will mark the first episode to be on Revision3.
