This is exciting news! Joshua Topolsky is going to be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The era of the geek becoming cool is upon us– or our mystique is just about to be outed as non-existent. We’ll see which way the pendulum swings on Monday. Joshua promises he’ll have something cool to show on the program.
More talk about the Eee Keyboard. As weird as it is, along with Ryan Block from yesterday’s gdgt weekly, these guys are really up on it. The novelty factor must be at just the right level for this to be something appealing. It will be surprising if all these positive views on it continue after some hands-on time.
Although the updates from Apple earlier in the week were rather minor, there is some excitement here about the smaller stuff. The new dual-band Airport Extreme has Paul pretty excited. I run almost the exact set-up as him so his interest is definitely not lost here. Since mobile devices don’t run wireless n due to battery reasons, dual band it is.
