The announcements of new Apple products that happened yesterday morning is the main topic of discussion in this week’s episode. 3 of Apple’s main product lines were updated, but the results were not exactly amazing.
The conclusions are: The Mac mini update was long needed, but the price is still too high; the iMac upgrades were ok and the reduction of the low end 24″ model is a welcome change; and the Mac Pro refresh is more confusing than anything.
It’s not talked about on the show here, but there are rumors of an Apple event on March 24th, so with all of these announcements having already been made, that could mean something bigger is coming near the end of the month.
