Xbox 360 Fancast 106 — Naughty Words

by Jonathan Downin in GamesMarch 2nd, 2009 @ 8:26 pm

Xbox 360 FancastIf you are not watching Joystiq Xbox’s XBLA in brief videos you should be.  Ever wondered if you should spend your hard-earned MS secret points on the week’s XBLA release?  That’s what this is for.  This week Richard covers Exit 2 and it’s far from great.  It is a weekly feature and you can subscribe via iTunes.

The undying issue of Resident Evil 5s control mechanic rears its head here again.  This topic isn’t going away and you can count on it being a key point in reviews.  But with over 4 million downloads of the demo, the possibility of it not selling well despite issues is unlikely.  Not to mention that beautiful red special edition Xbox 360.

In the fan talk segment the guys are talking about the claimed nearing end of the red ring of death problem.  Microsoft higher-up Aaron Greenberg claims that the worst is over.  Well, let’s hope so.  It’s such a great product outside of these issues.  Xbox 720 better have 0 problems; this was Microsoft’s one pass.

The Xbox 360 Fancast shambles on this week. Sadly, as there is no Xav on the show, we are forced to ramble on without any angry tirades. It’s sad, we know. Still, you can hear us gab on and on about Capcom, Mass Effect 2 and other things too! Oh, and we do our best not to use any naughty words. Our best, as it turns out, isn’t very good.
