Initial impressions of the Kindle 2 screen were very positive, but Joshua seems to feel like the screen has some pretty obvious ghosting issues. Another issue, that hasn’t really been discussed but is quite valid, is that with ebooks you can’t get a physical idea of how far you are through a book at a glance. Disorienting.
Apple has crept back into the new with the new MacBook Pro 17″, prospect of a Mac mini refresh and a MacBook Air defect. The guys aren’t please about the non-swappable battery and are pessimistic about the actual battery life.
Hopefully a new Mac mini comes out with a bit more freshness than the photos and video that have been floating around. If that product is going to continue to be popular (or become popular) it really needs some sprucing up.
