The date for the digital TV switch-over has officially been pushed back and that date is June 12th, 2009. I have to agree with Ryan and Peter on this one, what is the point? Does this really make an impact other than just confusing people even further?
A Dell phone is an interesting prospect. As computing is quickly moving away from the traditional laptop and desktop experiences for day-to-day tasks, it really does make sense that someone like Dell would want to get into this space.
Yeah, so the government postponed the analog TV cutoff date and India’s $10 laptop turned out to be, well, neither $10 nor a laptop. But hey, Dell might finally introduce the Dellphone (not like we haven’t heard that one before), Toshiba announced the first Snapdragon mobile, the insanely specced TG01, and Garmin and Asus have teamed up to take on Sony-Ericsson as the most mismatched odd-couple in the mobile space. Not bad for a down week running up to Mobile World Congress — listen in.
