The rebirth of 1UP Yours has happened and the new show is called Listen UP. I’m not sure I love the title, but I didn’t love 1UP Yours at first either. This is still very much the 1UP Yours we’ve come to love, so that’s a good thing. No logo yet though it seems.
Quite a bit of Killzone 2 talk up front here. The guys seem to like it, but not quite as much as the IGN guys did. I predict B+ from the 1UP crew. We’ll see on Monday when they are released from embargo to post their review.
They have mixed it up a bit with a little more focus on the 1UP community. That’s makes sense in regards to what is happening at 1UP.
We set the name and now we launch the next evolution of 1UP podcasts: ListenUP. Sticking to the four-person cast, John, David, and Garnett start the new show where the old one left off: looking for the next fourth chair. And for this first episode, it’s Sam Kennedy on the hot seat. We’ve got Whatcha’ Been Playin? and an all-new second segment that features news and community. It’s good to be back.
