Ryan and Peter are talking primarily about the Palm Pre in this special CES edition of gdgt weekly.
I’m sure everyone is tired of CES stuff, but the Palm Pre is still a very interesting topic. I love seeing something that is nipping at the iPhone’s heels if for no other reason than to make Apple up it’s game.
The enhanced chapter, image and link laden format of gdgt weekly’s podcast is great. If you haven’t noticed, it is VERY well integrated and makes the podcast experience something beyond just talk radio in mp3 format. If every podcast would do this it really could elevate the medium.
There’s little question that Palm stole the show at CES 2009 when it (finally) launched its webOS and the Pre — and there’s certainly no shortage of things to say about it all. So we’re dedicating this CES supplemental to Palm and their “new-ness” — what the Pre is, how webOS works, and our first impressions of the new hardware and software. Don’t worry though, if you’re not looking for more on Palm, we’ll be back later this week with our regular show and the rest from CES.
