The 1UP crew is talking about the games of 2009.  More so than is usual it seems we don’t know too much about what is coming next year.  Hopefully there are a lot of games that haven’t been announced yet.

Is Final Fantasy XIII really going to release next year?  I can’t see that happening.  I’m with Philip on Mafia II.  The first one was great and the second one looks to be a worthy follow-up.  It’s one of those games that kinda slipped through the cracks so if you haven’t played it, grab a copy of the PC version, the console versions are not so great.

Happy New Years-ish! We break from tradition to bring you a 2009 Preview Extravaganza, as Alice, Scooter, and Matt L. join us to chat about all the big publishers and their 2009 game lineups, and we all pick out our most anticipated games. Enjoy, and we’ll see you next year!
